Milestone 3

February 04th - March 04th

For the third milestone of our productions phase our team worked hard and created:

​

  • ​Functional  Combat System 

    • Status effects​

    • Damage types

    • Health and stun

    • Component attacks 

    • Component stealing 

  • UI and Accessibility Systems 

    • Title screen, pause menu, and upgrade menu

    • Settings and various accessibility settings 

  • Audio and Animation 

    • Implement 2 music tracks ​

    • Complete frog animations, component animations, and enemy animations

Update #4

Milestone 2

January 20th - February 04th

For the second milestone of our productions phase our team developed:

​

  • Main player (frog) animations: walk cycle, and tongue grab

  • Lighting concepts for environment zones

    • For cool toned safe rooms and warm toned combat areas​

  • New environment props

    • Pipes, pain buckets, grates, and toy blocks!​

  • UI designs in 2D

    • Health bars, and menus ​

  • Nutcracker enemy created and base for large enemy

  • New textures 

    • Flooring, moss, tiles, and more!​

  • Enemy encounters and level placements  

  • Now base enemy functions are working!

Update #3

Milestone 1

January 06th - January 20th

During our first milestone for our productions phase our team developed:

​

  • Main player model and environment assets.

  • We have created level design concepts.

  • Sound effects for enemies and characters were also developed.

  • Our concepting team created a finalized design for all enemy types.

  • Safe zones, lotus flower animation

  • Our programming team developed necessary scripts and worked on our AI system of enemies

Update #2

Concepting Stage

September 2024 - December 2025

During our fall semester of 2024 our pre production stage largely involved preparing our team identity for our studio and preparing our team's code of conduct.

 

Our artists/designers worked hard on concepting game play, art style, game assets, characters, and enemies, along with audio concepts and animation style. 

​

Our team's programmers also prepared using AI for our game's enemies. They worked hard on preparing the control scheme, and planned how our mechanics work.
